FIRST POST: Welcome to the New Blog

So, here we are at my new blog: TheGOSPELforOC.com

Some may be wondering ‘why the switcheroo?‘ It’s quite simple. My old blog started off as a way for me to exercise my writing bug, collect a few thoughts, share these thoughts, and consequently gain readership and feedback from friends and family. For whatever reason (and by whatever reason, I mean “Google”), I started gaining an additional and consistent readership of absolute strangers from several different states and two other continents. I also started getting questions about my newly reformed faith from dudes and gals I haven’t spoken to since high school.

For these unexpected reasons, I pumped the brakes on my blog to stop and consider both the purpose of and my motives for maintaining a personal blog. I eventually made the decision to be a little more intentional in what I write. So, I purchased this domain name for dirt cheap, hoping to take some attention from my personal name and invest it in something bigger than myself. In so doing, I’m also hoping to encourage others to consider the implications of God’s gospel in their own culture.

Writing is just a hobby for me. It’s something I love to do. But the gospel… the gospel is a reality that has transformed my life (and every fiber of it); it’s a Message I’m confronted with daily–and one that always leads me to Christ, my supreme joy.

    Hello there! I could have sworn I’ve been to this website prior to but soon after searching by means of a few of the submit I recognized it is new to me. Anyways, I’m undoubtedly delighted I discovered it and I’ll be book-marking and checking back again often!
