Introducing Mark and Jon…

Written by on December 23, 2009 in Uncategorized - 3 Comments

…not the apostles—though that would be cool. Rather, Mark and Jon are close friends of mine, and I’m excited to introduce them as the two newest bloggers at thegospelforoc.com

The main reason I purchased this web domain, and moved from my old personal blog, was to centralize its theme on the power of the gospel. Both Jon and Mark care deeply about Jesus and his gospel message, so it made perfect sense to have them join me in writing for the blog.

About them:

Jon is a first-year seminarian at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and an intern in Holy Trinity Church’s ministry training project, the Chicago Plan. He cares about the people of Orange County and aspires to plant a Christ-exalting and gospel-centered church here in a few years.

Mark just graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a degree in English. Some of you may have read his personal blog. Mark leads worship at a local church on Sunday mornings and makes a killer undertow (secret drink, only for elite indie kids) at Starbucks. He’ll be working toward his teaching credentials this upcoming year.

I’m excited about these additions.

Look out for our future posts.

More perspectives. More content. Same truth. One passion.
