Colt McCoy: “I Always Give God the Glory”

I caught a glimpse of Colt McCoy’s post-game interview after the BCS National Championship Game last night. During his team’s first drive, the Texas Longhorns quarterback injured his passing arm badly, knocking him out of the biggest—and final—game of his college career. His team lost.

Check out his afterthoughts…

How rad is that? Giving God the glory when glory is due: all the time; win or lose. What an example.

My YouTube search also yielded this video of McCoy:

Now there’s a solid athletic role model for the kids. Thank you, Colt, and best of luck providence next year in the NFL.

I was sad that they lost, but that’s gotta b the best way to lose if you are going to lose at all!!! You can tell he loves the game, but loves God even more.

and i don’t know if you knew this already, but there is a whole series of I Am Second videos from different celebrities telling their stories. They are all worth watching.
